How We Started

The Luncheon Legends were initiated by two friends who wanted to meet regularly socially.

Having some common interest in walking together and both having allotments they shared experiences for both successes and not such good success with their crops.

They then expanded the group to include another couple who were starting thier allotment experience.

And so, the Luncheon Legends were born.

The criteria for selecting the lunch venue is that it has to be on a bus route that passes through Melksham market place.

Now, once a month one of the members chooses a lunch venue for the six members to go out for lunch.

The Admin Legend makes the booking while the Travel Legend advises each of the members the bus route and time of the bus from close by locations to embark the bus.

We have a Wine Legend who selects the wine and a Proseco Legend who tastes and comments on the wine selected.

Finally, there is the Team Legend who takes a helicopter view of the events and makes overall comments.
